A sound card is not something that many people consider these days. Let’s face it – almost every motherboard on the market has sound on-board and decent sound at that. Most come with support for 7.1 surround sound. It would be easy to believe that the days of the sound card are numbered, if not already over.
But putting a sound card into a PC set-up is not a bad idea. In fact, it is a really good one.
